[back to his own. he shuffles the balls in one hand]

Playin' around ain't bad, but they're a little small for volleyball. Would make pretty good target practice, prob'ly?

The balls seem like they're a good size for throwing, not for hitting.

I was imaginin' throwin' 'em and then hittin' 'em with bullets. But I guess that's only fun for a few seconds before you run outta 'em...

You could use the balls to hit a target instead. Are you practiced with that?

Nah. But it don't seem that hard to pick up.

I wonder if I have grown rusty in the months I have been here... I would be curious to try as well.

What, you do a lot of throwin' balls usually?

[derailer]

That is correct! Throwing items with precision is an integral component of dealing with Pokemon in the wild. Pokeballs, sticky globs, berries, smoke bombs... the list continues. Being able to use items from a distance is important in order to maintain safety.

[stirtheblood]

Ehhhh... That right?

Well, shootin' things from a distance is pretty handy too, but sometimes it's more fun with less safety.

I understand the sensation you are speaking of, but I will also remind you that humans are very easily incapacitated by injuries, and... well, never mind. It is all irrelevant to you anyway.

Yeah, never mind all that boring stuff.

We could try throwin' 'em at the dart boards in the pool hall?

Oh, that is a good idea. It does come with scores!

Eh, it's been alright. I'm not big on doin' a bunch of tasks on command, but Ruggie wants to win, so I've been doin' a few. Some of 'em are fun.

Ah, really? Which have you found enjoyable?

Well, I didn't know what a "trust fall" was, but Ruggie says I'm great at it. Told people a little about the Christma Sparking festival I ran into before... Oh, and I did a striptease, since that's basically tradition at this point.

[derailer]

I did wonder if that was one of them.

"Trust fall"... I think I entirely skimmed over that one. I don't know what it is myself.

Ruggie didn't appreciate the strippin' as much. He just got on me about not wearin' many clothes to start with and the piercing prob'ly bein' a pain in the cold, or whatever.

Trust fall's when you just fall backwards from standin' and the other person has to catch ya. I scooped him up real dramatic at the last moment.

[derailer]

[He forgot the piercing would be part of this. Wait. That's because he didn't realize the piercing was still there at all?!]

I... I see! That does sound dramatic!

N—No, I think I can imagine it well enough on my own.

Ya sure? Suit yerself.

[Vicious starts tossing around the balls in his hand as they walk. Incidentally he's doing a pretty good approximation of one-handed juggling.]
