[Vicious traces his hand over Moon's side and joints.]

Then yeah, I'd have that. ...I mean, if some reason comes up later that I don't wanna keep it, I can always take it out.

That is true. Any piercing can heal, and you and I are the kind that can heal any mark.

Right. So anythin' don't have to be permanent, we can just keep it in as long as we want.

In a way, that is even better than something permanent. That is decided on only once. Ours is a daily affirmation.

[PURRS and winds his arms around Vicious to tug him back down into the nest cushions]

I do! Imagine how bright a long, red tassel will look against the black scales on my neck.

[kisses the side of Vicious’s neck, imagining where an earring might dangle]

Blue will be more subtle on you, but once noticed it will be hard to ignore.
